Dr Niamh Maher

Dr Niamh Maher is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in both the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise and the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital Dublin.

Dr Maher studied medicine in University College Dublin (UCD), graduating in 2006.

She applied directly post internship for the obstetrics and gynaecology scheme in Ireland. This began 9 years of training, all of which were spent rotating through the various obstetrics and gynaecology services throughout the country.

Dr Maher is registered on the specialist division for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, having completed her training via the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

During this time she acquired substantial gynaecological experience , with a particular interest in colposcopy, minimally invasive and vaginal surgery.

Her aim is to offer both medical advice and surgical options for women with gynaecological issues.
